A joint venture with singer / songwriter Adeeb Derhalli in 1999 under the Duo name of BLIS. They also produced a song entitled ABOUT TIME before parting. Rania continued with a solo career with an album in Arabic and Adeeb moved to Canada.

A Bi-lingual Actress, Singer and TV Presenter, trained at the Guildford School of Acting from 1993-1996.

Born to a British mother and Arab father she returned soon after to the Middle-East and was propelled to stardom presenting SUPERSTAR, the 1st Pan Arab "POP IDOL" with Fremantle Media.

As the lead female role in the Egyptian film THE SEVENTH SENSE and recently the writer and the actor of her own comedy sketch show THE RANIA SHOW for ( ROYA TV ) she has gained a whole new generation of audience .

Rania is currently writing her first screenplay with British writer/ Director Leslie Stewart and intends to further her acting career in England where she now resides with her two children.

2002-2004 Rania co-hosted the first two seasons of SUPERSTAR , The Pan-Arab POP IDOL franchise developed by Fremantle Media which was the first to feature contestants from multiple Arab countries . and broadcast worldwide on Future TV, The Show was the most successful Arab TV show of its time.
The show was relaunched as Arab Idol on MBC in 2011.
