I trained as an actress at the Guildford School of Acting and have been working in film, theatre, and voice-overs for over twenty years.

I was the first Jordanian to achieve pan-Arab success

● Co-hosting the first (Pan-Arab Pop Idol) SUPERSTAR with Fremantle Media.

● Playing the lead female part in the Egyptian movie "The Seventh Sense”

● Releasing two music albums that topped the charts with my hit song Shayef Nafsak

● Being defined as the Arab Tracey Ullman after creating my own comedy sketch show ‘The Rania Show” for Roya TV in Jordan .

I have worked with Abu Dhabi TV, Showtime, CNN, BBC, Future TV, LBC/ Lebanon, JTV and AlAraby TV in London and most recently created a series of online sex education sketches for youth with the UNFPA.

I continue to write, act and release my podcast, “Breaking Free with Rania Kurdi”, where I invite inspiring guests to share their life stories.
